Jazz Band is one of the top instrumental performing groups at Sinaloa. Students study
advanced instrumental jazz techniques and improvisation. Students attend a before-school
class that meets at 7:15 a.m. Students must audition to be part of this ensemble. The Jazz
Band performs 8-9 concerts a year and takes at least one overnight trip.
The Sinaloa Jazz Band was recently featured at the Monterey Jazz Festival
Next Generation Festival as one of only 6 middle school band in the country
selected to perform!
