Rehearsal/Performance Schedule:
Summer:
Band camp
August 17th and 18th, 3:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
At this short band camp the band will learn the fundamentals of
marching, receive music, and have the first rehearsal with the whole
band. These rehearsals are extremely important. The rehearsals will be
held at Sinaloa Middle School in Novato.
School Year:
Evening rehearsals
Tuesday nights, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. during the school year – no
rehearsals on school holidays. Rehearsals start August 25th. Students
may miss a very limited number of rehearsals for illness or special
events. Missing rehearsal for special events requires notification one
week before the absence. Be aware that joining this group means
making a strong commitment. Students who are unable to keep up with
the group due to missed rehearsals will not be able to participate in the
trip. These rehearsals will be held at Sinaloa Middle School in Novato.
Petaluma Parade:
The date is not yet confirmed for this event but will probably be
Saturday, April 3, 2010 in the morning. More information will be
available as soon as possible. This will be our chance to march in a
parade before the actual trip.
Pre-trip Rehearsal:
Saturday, May 19th, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This will be our
second to last rehearsal and attendance is absolutely required. These
rehearsals will be held at Sinaloa Middle School in Novato.
Trip:
The M.C.M.B. will leave the San Francisco Airport the morning of
Saturday, May 29th, 2010 and will return Tuesday, June 1st. Please
